Anne Arundel County horsemen and horsewomen are mobilizing on Friday to decisively kill the Sunday Deer Hunting Bill (HB 0197, the bill that authorizes DNR to allow hunting on private lands every Sunday from early October into January), and are asking for all the live bodies they can get to show up at 9 a.m. in Room 124 of the Lowe House Office Building.
To date, the local horse people have done an outstanding job getting the legislators to start backpedaling on the bill, but in order to insure that the bill dies decisively, the Anne Arundel County delegation needs to vote against the bill.
